Elmo is one of those dogs that come around once in a lifetime.
He made breed history by being the first Great Dane to be born by artificial insemination,
from frozen semen which was obtained by me from Canada from my good friend Ellie Hunter

I am very proud of his numerous achievements,
the most outstanding being to win at Crufts two years consecutively
2009 - 1st place Open Dog, Challenge Certificate, Best Opposite Sex
2010 - Challenge Certificate & Great Dane Best of Breed
To do this was truly memorable - winning once was amazing,
but twice was unbelievable as this had previously never been achieved by a Harlequin Great Dane!
I would like to thank Tammy Pocock for the expert handling of Elmo on both occasions at Crufts -
I wouldn't have done it without her!
Elmo has been campaigned at select shows in Ireland in the search for his Irish/International title and won his first green star,
C.A.C.I.B & working group 4 in one show
